Posters enable the presentation and illustration of research projects and plans in a graphic form. The organisers of MedRen 2023 would like to encourage the presentation of posters and raise their visibility as an equally valid communication format to the traditional lecture. Early career researchers in particular are called upon to submit their contributions in order to discuss them with other conference participants and exchange opinions.
Posters should be in A0 (portrait, 841 x 1189 mm) or A1 (landscape, 841 x 594 mm) size and written with clarity, precision, and inclusion in any of the conference languages. The poster session will be realized both as a permanent exhibition during the entire conference and with a dedicated time slot of two hours, currently anticipated on the afternoon of 26 July 2023 (Wednesday). All conference participants are invited to attend the central posters session and discuss the authors’ work with them.
Options for where to print your poster near the conference venue will be announced on the homepage in due time.
Poster Presentation
At the beginning of the dedicated posters session, colleagues are asked to prepare a one-minute teaser talk on stage to introduce the key content of their poster. Time will be strictly measured and longer presentations will be stopped after one minute. Afterwards, there will be time for questions and answers in front of the respective poster.
MedRen 2023 Poster Award
During the posters session, the MedRen community will be asked to evaluate the posters according to the criteria of scholarly quality, on-site presentation, as well as design and creativity. The three best posters will be selected and awarded a cash prize. The winners will be announced during the conference.
